A Resonator Built to Do It All

A resonator brings a sound to your playing that nothing else can. This one brings that sound and a few more things with it. It pulls together three of the features players most want in a resonator: the spider bridge, the cutaway, and the onboard pickup. Ideal for blues, bluegrass, slide, or something less defined. This instrument is ready for all of it, acoustically or amplified.

Sustain That Sings

Pluck a note and it stays. The spider bridge is what gives the sound its length and its sweetness. The bridge sits on a spider-shaped support that spreads vibration across the full cone, so each note opens up instead of staying tight and short. It's the more singing side of the resonator voice.

Room to Play the Whole Neck

The upper frets are right there when you need them. The cutaway carves out the upper bout where the body meets the neck, opening up clean access to the highest notes on the fingerboard. For slide work that wants to climb, or lead lines that live past the 12th fret, the playing space is wide open. Nothing gets in the way of where your hand wants to go.

Ready for the Amp

Run a cable to an amp and the resonator's voice goes with you. A chrome-covered mini humbucker is mounted under the strings, picking up the cone's tone with the warmth and noise rejection that humbuckers are built for. Volume and tone knobs are right on the body, so adjustments happen without breaking from playing. It's the same instrument, now able to fill bigger rooms or sit in a recorded mix without a microphone in front of it.
