The Chop Has Teeth

Strike a chord on the FM200 and it lands clean and fast, then gets out of the way. That quick decay is the foundation of bluegrass rhythm, and it's what makes the chop sound like a chop and not a wash. The carved arched top and back are the engine, the solid spruce keeps the response quick and the projection strong, and mahogany sides round out the bottom end so it doesn't disappear underneath the higher voices in the band.
